Hey maltje,

what kind of a browser do you use?
I use FireFox and it works like a charme just for the java detection.
Consider to switch it

make sure that libstdc++6 is installed on your system. was having the same errors (Xandros 3.0.2) went in xandros networks and found that libstdc++5 and libstdc++2.10 were installed but not libstdc++6. so i turned un the xandros Unsupported APT Rep and installed libstdc++6 now all is working fine…

Hello,

make sure that libstdc++6 is installed on your system…

That saved my day as well. I had problems starting UM 2.0.3, which was stating “corrupt” in the splash screen.

You really should clearly print an error warning that libstdc++.so.6 is missing on the system! Maybe you should point the user that this is a requirement.

After having installed libstdc++34-3.4.3_16-0.1.i586.rpm on my SuSE 9.3, I could successfully start UM 2.0.3 beta.

ciao, Soeren

Hi,

Thank you for your investigation!
I just found the reason why UltraMixer needs libstdc++. I fixed it right now and this change will be in the next beta release.

Happy Mixing!
