Plays but no sound

I have two problems when starting. The meters show the song is playing but no sound. Player will not start at all. Have to shut program down and restart. Any ideas?

Hello,

we’ve discussed our enquiry. Unfortunatly, we don’t have a clue what’s wrong on your machine. Could you please describe in detail what kind of operating system, sound cards and UltraMixer version you use?

I had this problem.
Just ended up plugging my headphones into a different spot on the soundcard (was about to post a response but tried that first… noob error!).

this description is way too vague. Could you please make it more clear? Maybe, you could post a screenshot of your preferences dialog.
