Is it possible to make a keyboard emulator. I would like to fill out text fields with my mouse. So it would be handy when a keyboard window pops up. For me it is very handy because I don’t have space for a keyboard on my console.

let me refrase my question. Is it possible to address external commands to buttons. For instance: The user button in the top menu, is it possible to click on a picture and the action starts an onscreen keyboard program?

Is it possible to set buttonname and action for the user and artist button?
Maybe a user can assign one or two buttons with their actions just like a shortcut in windows or a dos command?

This way I can control an external onscreen keyboard application with ultramixer.

well you cannot assign actions to the user image.
You just can assign keystrokes to existing shortcuts. This can be done in the preferences menu:
