Genre ID3-Tag

When I change the genre type by editing the ID3-tag in UM, it saves it and works fine. But when I switch to Window XP Home Edition, the genre is missing from all the MP3 files I edit in UM. All other columns display the ID3 tag correctly with the exception of the genre column; it’s blank.

Could it be that UM’s ID3-tag editor is not fully compatiable with XP?

UM writes the genre tag correctly but Windows Explorer doesn’t show the genre tag - I don’t know the reason. But if you use another id3 tagging tool (like foobar or winamp) you’ll see the genre tag written by UltraMixer.
