the splash window hangs while showing the V.2.0.4 (beta).

the splash window displays “corrupt” where the version would normally be displayed.
that’s not an issue it’s a pretty “normal” behaviour of java You are running a 64 bit JRE that does not support the 32 bit backend of UltraMixer 2.0.4. UltraMixer 2.0.5 will support native 64 bit on linux. Either you wait or you use a 32 bit JRE on your 64 bit Linux --> just try the UltraMixer version with java There is an 32 bit jre included.
NO! I disagree. I have the same problem, but I run no 64bit machine.
What happens: Splash-screen hangs.
UM Version: 2.0.4.(beta)

the libstdc++ “bug” is a known issue. It’s because UM needs libstdc++.so.6 but your distribution probably delivers libstdc++.so.5. Either you update the library on your system or you wait for UltraMixer 2.0.5. It’s fixed in the upcomming version.
