Denon HC4500 native support on a mac?

I am using the pro trial version of version 2.3.2 right now on a macbook and trying to control it with a Denon HC4500 midi controller. I have several questions.

  1. The track title, etc. does not show up on the HC4500. The only thing that shows up is the red PC light. The button lights also do not work. Since the HC4500 is natively supported, I thought all of this would work.

  2. Do you have a list of what buttons on the HC4500 control what functions on Ultramixer? I’m finding many of the buttons don’t do anything.

  3. How do you fade between decks 1 and 2 on the HC4500?

Thanks in advance for all your help. I will purchase as soon as I know all of this works.

    Well, they should and they do over here. Which MacOSX do you use?

I don’t know any of the buttons that is not used at all. Which is not working?

Since there is no cross fade slider on the HC4500 we decided to leave it without. You can either use the next-song button or your cross fader on your hardware mixer. If you have a good idea which slider should be used for this please tell us and we might include it.

I’m using Version 10.5 Leopard OSX on my macbook. I have the HC4500 selected as the midi controller I’m using and the play/pause button works, but when i press it, all that shows up on the HC4500 screen is a ‘Link’ light. Anything you can think of that I might be doing wrong?

The Jog wheel in particular. It’s very possible I’m not using the HC4500 correctly since I just recently purchased it. Do you have something that shows what buttons on the HC4500 match up to your software? I saw in a past posting where you where supposed to be coming out with that. In particular I was wondering how to navigate the music libraries.
